I press that I have an archive of parts and axes saved each one in their own folder separately.
I have to create a new set and I would like to start directly by changing the axiom of an existing model, since many parts and subaxis will remain the same.
I would like to copy a set in an external folder, rename it and make changes to some parts without changing them in the source axis, but I can't.
I'll take the axieme, cover it in a new folder and then renounce it for example 001.
Is it possible to disconnect only the parts I want to change and rename from the other assemblies, to make them independent in 001 and to be able to work?
for the moment I decided to recompose the ass, it seems to me the safest way.

Hi, you could do this:

pack and go and cover all the asses with all the parts. with swx explorer or the solidworks menu in explore resources renounce the asses and parts to edit. delete parts that remain unaltered and open the original axieme. then open the renamed axieme and save it.

Let me know.

you have to use the pack and go, removing the flag to the parts that have to remain the same in the old and renamed axieme. the parts-axioms and drawings that have the flag can rename them (it is healthy to do so...) and will be new and independent parts or assemblies from those of origin.
look at the help and do some tests with simple assemblies to understand how it works.

delete parts that remain unaltered and open the original axieme. then open the renamed axieme and save it.

do you mean that the axieme renamed in the reopening, automatically recovers the parcels that remain unaltered with this procedure?

Hi.
Okay.
It looks like it's okay.
I know doing a subaxieme at a time using pack and go and renameing files to edit.
Thank you for your help. :finger:
