Hey, guys.
congratulations to all of you for the beautiful forum and the work and help you give to all of us.

I ask you help to assess whether there was a possibility of creating a routine on autocad that automates the following operations:

I have a set of 36 points with x,y coordinates always the same for each single point.
design a spline that passes for a group of these points (e.g. point 1 point 5 point 14 etc. etc.)
This spline is always closed and then I turn it into polylinea from which I go back to the area.
the sequence of numbers inserted for which the spline passes (e.g. point 1 point 5 point 14 etc.) and the resulting area I insert in a excel sheet where in column I put the sequence of numbers and in column b I put the respective area.

I'm sorry, but I'm not lisp or vba, I was thinking about something like that.

each single point is marked by a number of 1 to 36
autocad asks me to insert the sequence of numbers (es 1 5 14) draws me the closed spline
me convert it to polylinea and tell me the area
asks me whether to keep it on screen or delete it
memorizes "from some part" the data obtained and starts again
finished inserting various groups of numbers (I have more than a thousand...) asks me to save them on a file (txt or better excel)

Thank you so much for your help

ivan

are the points drawn or do you know only the coordinates?

autocad should ask you if to keep or cancel the spline to a thousand times?

Hi.

the points are drawn

once drawn the spline and calculated the area, before starting again to insert a new group of numbers should cancel the newly drawn spline otherwise already with 10 drawn spline you do not understand anything. .

only that before canceling it I have to do some checks and then proceed erasing it.

but this could also manually do it at the limit, the important thing is that I "keep in memory" the groups of numbers inserted with its areas and then save them in a file

I drew simple points based on known coordinates, numbered them by writing the text with its number.
