good evening if I can a question regarding this exercise,the use of spacers is intended to register to the right assembly?

the spacer is intended to compensate for empty spaces in an economic way that should otherwise be covered by other components on which to create a special geometry through work or onerous production process.
Moreover the spacer should be used where there is a need to record a dimension with an easily removable and workable element as in the case in which multiple associated tolerated components may vary a distance of a few tenths; In this case a spacer, which is always an economic element, is adapted or remade to create the desired coupling.
