Good morning.

I was studying drawing machines on the pink barsali barsotti, but I couldn't understand one thing well

when drawing the toothed wheels integral part of the drawing is a table where you put all the data related to/from the drawn toothed wheels, those in short necessary to identify it and build it

in the book, however, in the theory part from an example of data to be inserted in the table, while in the appendix at the bottom, which are quoted drawings, puts other values.

So I was wondering, what should I put in this table?? ah I refer to cylindrical wheels with straight teeth. We're not looking for weird things.

Thank you.

ps was for me I would put only 5 values: module, n teeth, pressure angle, correction and reference teeth, and the wheel would be more than identified

on books unfortunately there are many nonsense and the only things that refer to are the regulations.
definitely in the tooth pane you need:
- pressure angle
- tooth number z
- normal module m
- actual primitive diameter dp
- x profile correction coefficient
- wheel width (unless the ratio on the drawing)
- precision wheel class

to tell the truth to build you need other parameters:
- type of profile or reference teeth
- number of teeth for wildabler control
- Wildabler size to be measured with paittelli
- processing tolerances and possible torque game wheels if different from standard
- wheel with which it is coupled (design code, z, m etc.)
- heat treatment and mode (multiple induction, surface only hips etc., nitriding etc.)
- quality steel according to standard and class iso 6336
etc.
depending on the needs, the skills of those who prepare the design and according to the type of control to be performed

Sorry about the answer a little late. Anyway, the list you put is good as a list of parameters to indicate. I think I'll do that again when it happens. of course I will go to add more if I have greater skills, or there will be a request for more information
