difference between solidworks cad and fusion 360

Hello, in recent days I have come into contact with the fusion 360 design software....
Since these days I am studying how to modify the features (quote, tolerances, xyz-respect position) of the pieces designed with solidworks by saving them in the form of file step (via notepad and excel table), I would like to know if the activity of extracting or exporting features through macro with hsm (fusion cam) (so through fuson360 software) is more efficient than solidworks cad?? ? ? ? ?

I read more than 10 times your post but I didn't understand what you're asking.
If you have solidworks I would say you use his cam and do everything.
If you go from one program to another, you're still doing well....that you use excel and the known block but it's not the right way to proceed. Unless they force you to use two tools that don't communicate with each other.

one is a professional medium range software from the cost of minimum 3k the other is a free private cad with a 500 euro license for pro use. solidworks can be compared to inventor not to fusion. However with calm do everything even with fusion but nn is the maximum of stability.
