taken from the internet:"with the 2010 version, autodesk simplified the Moldovaflow product line. Autodesk Moldovaflow insight ensures accurate and powerful simulations of the most advanced plastic injection processes using the richest database of plastic materials. Autodesk Moldovaflow adviser facilitates the simulation and guides designers in the analysis and interpretation of results, avoiding the risks of delays or expensive rework. "
hello mali_fx, the two programs are very different and touch different aspects. moldflow advisor is very used in companies. fast, reliable is a sort of wizard that with few mouse clicks shows you the result. adapts to those uts that need quick answers and that do not need to customize certain aspects of analysis (machine parameters, mold configuration, mesh).
for example the meshatura part is made automatically by the program. moldflow insight is a much more complete and powerful tool. can deal with gas analysis, re, sequential, co-injection. has a powerful meshing engine and tools for correction and analysis of the piece. offers tools for the design of power and cooling channels.
in both cases, the most demanding work is the setting of the analysis. This is part of the analyst's skills, which, in addition to correctly setting the software, interprets the proposed results and communicates them to the customer.
often, in the use of these two programs, it follows an incorrect interpretation of the analysis.
I attach a pdf that explains (widely) the differences between advisors and insights.
