I wanted to ask you a little disappointment about the results: I am doing some exercise with finite elements (I am at the first weapons) with femap v10 with nx nastran and my doubt concerns the results obtained with the contour before and with the graph then: for example on a perforated plate considering a group of elements and visualizing "plate top y normal stress" I get a voltage of 83 mpa in the contour, if instead I go to realize a chart considering the same group and the same output I obtain a value of...
What can this difference be due? Should I go and make a thicker mesh in the most tension zone?
