in practice I noticed a change in the otting between autocad 2013 and 2014.
I uploaded a video to youtube to show you but said in a few words:
in autocad 2013 and earlier if I draw a line (e.g. horizontal), I exit from the command, return in the command line and port the cursor on the fine osnap (right example) of the line previously drawn, I suggest direction and towards with the mouse (e.g. horizontal and right) and then insert a measure (e.g. 90) followed by sending, my line will begin at a distance of 90 units and will be to the first drawn line.
in autocad 2014... no!
