Good morning, everyone.
I have just passed to autocad mechanical 2012 and I have a problem in managing xrif. the situation is described below.
I have a file full of external references (model file) that I use as a "viewer" of several dozen dwg files (the xrif in fact).
with all previous autocad versions (including autocad lt 2014), the program at the time of opening the model file if it did not find some xrif was limited to signaling it in the xrif palette.
with mechanical 2012 instead, at the opening of the file model opens for every xrif, the menu dedicated to the reassociation of the path of the missing xrif.
the thing is a bit annoying since the file model has hundreds of xrifs!

How can I delete this request? Is there a variable I can refer to?
I looked for a little but in vain. .

Thank you.

No idea? I searched all evening between forums and help, but of this variable no trace.
unfortunately filedia does not work..continue inexorable to open the menu..

Hi.
I'm sorry, but do you mean the "dedicated menu for the reassociation of the missing xrif path" you mean the dialogue that I attach?xref_non_risolti_dialog.webpIn this case, as you see, on the lower left there is a control that disables it.

the point is precisely this: there is no control to disable! !
the window that comes back for every missing x-rif is the following.
xRIF_MANCANTI.webpWhat a nerve!

It's interesting as a question. I'm coming to want to download the 2012 mechanical trial... I don't know if it's available.
I assume that in the configuration parameters of the options command has already seen...
If you really have to solve this, and if the xrif file names are similarly structured, I suggest you do this:
1- Create a folder on the hd
2- Save an empty dwg file in that folder
3 other copies (copy & paste)
4- Rename empty dwg files with missing xrif names or all xrifs
5- Add the folder name between those of autocad support files (command file tab options)

when you open your master file the xrifs not found in their path will be loaded (velociously) from the folder you created.
autocad searches the xrif first in the path saved in the design and then in the support folders or in the current one.
