disabled decals: why?

Hi, I imported an electrical print with circuitsworks, I usually attacked us as a decal on the printed track design!

instead when I go to use photoworks-->decalcomania the writing is disabled: why?
in which cases can I not use it?

The only thing I noticed is that it became "light function".

The strange thing is that I can't even get around the problem by putting a sketch on it then inserting an image with sketch tools.
