but as it is possible that during the creation and new denomination of a reference axis in the model, proe continues to give the error "the existing name already" if in reality such name has not yet been given in any feature and does not even exist in the search "info-list feature" ...:frown

thanks to who knows...

there is possibly a "purge" system that cleans the file from everything considered obsolete.

Hello, sir.
as I need for the definition of reference axes and subsequent insertion into position tolerances type location etc, the name is x and y.

I have no problem rename the axes with x or y, send me an example file that I take a look at?

I attach the file,
create a new axis or use an existing axis and try to rename it in x or y.

the manager is the "hole 24", try to delete it and then rename the axis, then remake the hole.
excellent nicksoft, on the model that I posted (not complete for privacy reasons) function because the hole 24 lets itself clear, while on my original model I can't delete this face in any way :eek:
Is there an option unknown to me that freezes/blocks features? ?

Thank you.

What error do you have when you try to erase it? look in the info of that hole if there is written "feature is read-only";
in case, from the menu "change - read only" you can remove this "protection". always that this is the reason for the failure to cancel. . .

It is not read-only and not from any error, try to delete the plan a or z of the file that I attached, it happens the same thing and you will see that nothing happens.

plan a (or z) is a feature with reference to geometric tolerances, that's why it doesn't let you delete them (you see it from right-click - properties).

Here I am, thank you for the answer, in fact for the plans is logical (I had escaped) but in the complete model however there is some ca...a that does not allow the normal development process ... with the features ... boh I do not know what to think, I will continue until I find the kiss that nests.

Thank you
