display option "elemental mean" in ansys

Good evening to all, I would kindly ask you a clarification regarding how to view results on ansys mechanical.
for the visualization of the results in the tab in the bottom left called "integration point results" there is the option "elemental mean"; Does anyone know how ansys shows the results in this case? What do you mean by "elemental mean"?
