display problems with autocad 2015

Hello everyone!
I am new to the forum, study building engineering-architecture and for a few months I have autocad 2015 version for students with license 3 years and I have a serious problem. if I open a file, not designed by me with many lines, the design is practically unreadable, since they are added to the same many other twisted and confused lines, which appear and disappear depending on the zoom and in print are not at all present. This didn't happen to me with just one file and it happened to me right away. Perhaps with the explanation I was unclear and I attach an extract of how I visualize in autocad and how it should be.
I'm pretty desperate, so please help me out.

Thank you very much first for answering me and then because, doing as you suggested, I think I solved it! I'm really in debt and happy. I don't know how I was really desperate, the program was practically unusable. Thank you very much!
If I can ask you one last question: the fact of disabling hardwer acceleration implies some consequence for other graphics programs (such as 3dsmax use, rinho, etc.) or other?

absolutely not because acceleration is disabled only for autocad. other software handle it independently. by curiosity, what video card do you have?

a ok perfect again thank you so much! as video card I have an ati mobility radeon hd 4250 I don't think it's the best, in fact I would like to change computers.

I also have problems with acceleration, I don't understand why since catia v5 turns great with nvidia from a gb.
