distinct with hidden parts

Bye to all,
I have a rather complex set with many subaxis and parts,
when, in drw, I insert a table of separate pieces
the parts and the axioms that are hidden still appear on the list.
I would like them not to be listed.

is it possible to do it through filters? or on some other road?

Thank you.
bb

In these cases I use simplified representations, maybe there are some other systems but I never used it.

there are two types of filter in the separate pieces table:

by element: just select the component(s) from the ok and then end.
by rule: you can add certain rules and here you can both show that hide only certain components,using even wildcard characters.

You must write:
to hide:

&asm.mbr.name!= (component name)
to show

&asm.mbr.name == ( component name)

greetings

but in these cases there would be a big job to do...:frown:

I thought I would make a table and insert the status of the component or if it is shown or not (actually point to read the on off status of the part)

therefore with a simple filter exclude from the separate all the nscoste parts. . .

Now I do not know if there is the possibility to go to read the on off state of the part (and also of the assieme)..........if this could be very convenient :biggrin::biggrin:

hiding in pro/e is a purely graphic function, the distinct "sente" that there is the component, as well as the calculations of the mass properties,baricentro,ecc, so eye...
you have to use the sopprimi if you want to do something like this, or use how Maxopus wrote the simplified representations that are the best thing.
simplified representation reads the on/off status of the axieme, just activate it at the table and load the table.

greetings

the simplified representations already use..... but I often find myself in front of situations where the sopprimi cannot use it and the representations would take care of me a lot of time........:frown:

and with a family table you could manage this problem?

Since you already use the simplified representations then explain to me what difference of time you have compared to hiding?
Sopprimi I know it's hard to use because you're bound by father son relationships, so I wrote you so to make you understand the difference from hiding.
family tables can also be integrated, but usually discourages if only used to hide/show components, it always depends on how your set is structured.

Why would they take you long?
if then for you 5 minutes are gold... :smile:

Hiding dozens or hundreds of components in this way is a simple operation and the family table would take you away much more time than a simplified representation.
