Hello, King! no precisely is a function inside the base module, you work only and exclusively on the primitive ones such as spheres,cubic,cilindri,tori,ecc (you don't have to model anything), you can have one or more subdivisions then irons and admirable 3ds style.

If you have created parametric as a license (ex pro/e foundation xe) you do not have to activate anything, I repeat that it is not an advanced module, but integrated into the basic license.
