hi to everyone, I write to ask a question quite fast, I created a model (formed on one side) in solidworks 2010 and already within the program I assigned materials and colors to the surfaces. I wanted to use photoview to render and get photorealistic images so, the problem is that if I open files within the program, it opens the template but does not recognize the materials and colors I had pre-set; I see it all grey to say it in poor words. . .
Moreover to add inside photoview the materials I have to drag them on the design "blind", not allowing me a precise work.
I'm probably wrong, and if anyone can help me well come!

that I know is such a disgusting... in the 2011 version was integrated as it was once as a rendering engine and there are no more these problems. in the 2010 version was an external development to see how to turn it and then integrate it.

makes rendering as a photo view and has been abandoned since 2011. is integrated in solidworks and if you have photoview you have at least one office license, which includes photoworks.
try to go into the menu of solidworks->instruments->in addition and check, it should be there.

opening the drop down menu (top, from the menu bar) you have a number of items rendering.... If you don't see them go to the bottom and select Customize menu, from there, the voices you want to see.
(...but just look at them and try the menus, there is nothing secret. a little 'fantasy' on; in the end it works like all windows-based programs)

p.s. a curiosity: Have you ever opened the online guide, used the help and made the tutorials? because you find everything well explained. . .
