Hello everyone.. .
I am a beginner of revit 2010, I have already tried to look for something in the forum but I found a lot.. .
cmq my question is this:
How can I make an external door with a semicircular overlay with an inferior overlay?

If you've already found this topic published to me because I haven't found it. . .
I wait for a reply.
Thank you. .

I ask you a question: are you able to create a normal door? I ask you because if we already start from the concept that you do not even know how to create and manage families of "normal" doors in rvt, then it doesn't even make sense to answer your question.
p.s. is not a provocation! I just want to know if it makes sense to help you or if you just lose time.

I know how to change colors encoding size etc...
However when they select the door and click family change after I open it prevents me.. .
so I try to draw a line but it also prevents me that.. .
I look at your blog...
Thank you.

I just need to jog this semicircle over the existing door. . .

if you are easier to publish a short video in which you take a door and add this semicircular coat with the inferiata inside. . .

I just need to jog this semicircle over the existing door. . .
but are you talking about a lighting apparatus or any object as long as it has the appearance of a sopralu?
if you are easier to publish a short video in which you take a door and add this semicircular coat with the inferiata inside. . .
And then? I put a broom in the derethane and shave your room?

It's all right! ! !
..... even to me it didn't seem the most right approach...but I found it right you to make it present! !

Look, I said about the video just thinking that it was easier than a written explanation, but if you're capable, just say it. .
Finally there are different ways to say things e.g.: I want to...
xke what you wrote is telling us nothing. . .
cmq thanks...

Okay, as I said. You just lose time.
p.s. the forum is not a place where you expect to receive hotline assistance! not even for my customers (who pay!!) I provide support creating adhoc movies; let alone if I do it for you free! :36_1_3:

x other users of the forum
If someone is capable and wants to do it, he explains how I can do it. . .
Thank you

but the forum if nn needs x have help.... what do you need?? ?
xke maybe nn I have nice understood its use!
help me understand. . .

help is given to those who have knowledge of the cause of what you're doing. the right approach would have been: "I put on an existing door a sopraluce but when I add the above door to a project the sopraluce is not seen (or is it in wrong position), where am I wrong?" and not "how can I realize an external door with a semicircular sopraluce with inside the sopraluce an inferiata? "
you can't explain in a forum how to create a personalised family from scratch and the less you can expect someone to make you even a movie! !
Do you understand? :bekle:

Okay.
If I ask how you do it means I know how to do it...no? ? ?
so just say it is too long to do.. .
xke so you're the one that wastes xke time I hoped you could help me point
You could have said that right away. . .

Okay.
If I ask how you do it means I know how to do it...no? ? ?
...and in fact I began asking: "Are you able to create a normal door? I ask you because if we already start from the concept that you do not even know how to create and manage families of "normal" doors in rvt, then it doesn't even make sense to answer your question. "
Now I find it would make no sense to answer you.
I also asked you: "But are you talking about a lighting apparatus or any object enough to have the appearance of a sopralu?" to which you never responded, probably because you have no idea the difference between the two elements.
study! then eventually when you will be able to understand "helps" returns.. .

nn I answered xke so much nn it seemed to me that you helped me cmq nn I need to make an enlightening sup but that looks like it.. .
can you do with an existing door or not?

...close here with the controversy...

@pino90
as tristan has said, knowledge of families is "a necessity" to the advanced use of revit: otherwise you must "please" to the use of standard families found in sw or those published on the net.

as first advice, look in the various sections of the forum you find references to the manuals present on the network and in the autodesk site, to develop your knowledge to the use of families...

Also, in this forum, you will also find discussions about families, even something similar to your needs (doors and windows), which can help you (use the search button in the forum)

example: http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=17720as second advice, search on the various web sites that contain families: something that can serve you, you can find it... (in the forum there are links that link to such sites)
