Hello to all it has just begun to use ansys mechanical apdl (and the analysis fem in general) , I read some guide but remains some doubt about the allocation of some constraints in structures like this:
the elements used are beam 188.My first doubt is this: is it correct to simulate an ink by inhibiting the long x and y translations and rotations around the axis z at the appropriate keypoint?
If this is correct and the structure is carried out, once loaded, it is presented as follows:
once even the remaining gdl of the structure launches the solution but the structure does not deform at all. . .evidently wrong to set something:frown: ..maybe they will also be very simple things but being in the beginning I have some difficulties...you would like to proceed in this case? ...
