Good morning. I'm trying to learn the revit part about the work phase and phase management filters but are still at the base. I tried (very simple and banal) to make two plants, one for the state of fact, one for the state of project. When I try to make walls in the state of fact, do you not see, if I change in "actual state" the properties of the walls do not see the same? Where am I wrong? How do I set the job? I just wanted to make the existent first and then make the various views with demolitions, reconstructions etc...

In theory, I didn't do anything, it's a base. It's four walls. I can't make them visible on the existing paper. I also put some pictures. 1535618170638.webp1535618143555.webp

The phase filter is obviously wrong. if you are using the architectural template installed with revit, change the phase filter "state of fact" indicate that it is visible by category also the new

I thank you for the answer but perhaps I still miss the sense of these specific commands. i.e. when I have to model the existing one, I do it as if it was new and then after I imposed the demolition and constructions? i.e. even if I am making the building at the present state I have to put it in a state of project?

you are making confusion between phases and phase filters. are not difficult concepts but it is difficult to explain it in a post on a forum
