hello to all, I find myself making a table of a set, and so far no problem. what I would like to do is that in a view it is possible to assign a line color to a component, leaving others on the color set. I have done several tests, but even if the system assigns it in reality remains the default one, and although within the view the result is the same. the only way I saw to change the color is by selecting the view pane, but it changes everything and not just a component.
Is there a system to do this?
Thank you.

preference--->visualization--->color setting
remove the check mark to monochrome display.

of course you have to color differently the various components in the assembly.

Hi.

Palo

I have already unchecked the default monochrome display, but nothing to do. the result does not change.
help

I found the system to do this:
Select view-set dx change dependent on view-choose edit whole objects-modify color lines-app-select objects-ok.

bye:

Have you ever heard of "render sets"?
Bye.

1) go to drafting and piss a view
2) Preference-view, general click on "define render sets", exits the definition mask of render sets

Enter a name and click "create", then select the components/solids to which you want to change the mode of view of the hidden or visible line (clicking in the button with the written) and impose line/type/thickness as you want to see them, leaving selected in the upper part the rs you created and clicked "update" to update it.

of course you can define how many "render sets" you want each with different settings.

3 click ok

done.

to use rs in a given view, doubleclick on the edge (or select and do mb3 style), go to "general", click "define render sets in view", below you find the created rs, select them and click "add"

4) click "ok"
5) click "ok"

and

magic, the view is as you want without slaughtering the marons with viewdependentedit (which however has its usefulness)

I hope I've been quite clear.

If I'm happy.
if not read the manual:biggrin:

Hi.
tried and worked. Thank you.

in the case of the render set window is free of clickable keys
in the sense that I do not have the add-on button .

the usual niubbo:biggrin:

I obviously have not understood the problem well, before doing style on the view you have to go in prefereces-view and from the general tab do "define and make sets", enter a name and make created then, after selecting the rs just created from the list above, change what you want and click on "update".
do this go to the view inserted (or still to be inserted) and do style-general-define make sets in view.

I hope I understand what you meant.

Bye.

I'm kidding, of course.
No, you're right.
I've never used set renders.
even if I actually knew of existence

I always used the layers and their visible in view and never had different needs ..

However, my intervention may serve to specify that to use a render set, it must first be created using the view preferences menu
then we can activate the same by double click on the view
