I started using 2018, together I know a behavior that in 2017 was different.
when I insert the first constraint the piece puts in place. in 2017 it was possible to drag the piece to move it if it covered the surface where to select the second bond. in 2018 I don't manage.I always have to click on "free move", move the piece and then update.
Can you set up I have a fixed setting?

you can decide whether the first piece is fixed or not originally --> tools --> application option --> together.

the free movement temporarily untie the constraints already given, in fact as soon as you use it, the lightning update is activated;
is convenient to select the faces to be bound.
from 2017 to 2018 nothing changed, if you put back the options you had before, you will find the right ones in 2018.

Have you tried with someone else together? I remember that with 2015 he did it sometimes to me...
