a screw cannot be a precise reference.
What do you mean? only on the diameter measured with the ruler?
a bearing in addition to having well defined measures being larger allows you to reduce the proportion error; do not need to browse catalogs, just write in a search engine the abbreviation and you will have under hand the skf page with its size
