Hello everyone,

I've been facing this problem for a while:
starting from the assumption that every file of each project has as name xxxxxaayy.sldprt where xxxxx identifies the order, and consequently the various sub-assiemi and general together, as well as all the tables, refer to such files, how do I want to use the same project but with different number of orders? for the moment I copied the folder and renamed all files. but, of course, when I go to open the axieme or a table missing all the references and then solidworks asks me to indicate all the new files.
as each project consists of a few hundred parts, is it possible to automate this phase?

I hope I've been clear.

Thank you.

It's easier to do than to explain.
open solidworks explorer look for your main set, what you want to duplicate

the selection opens a window with the possibility to open it, rename it move it, make a "pack and go" use this, opens a window with inside the axieme and all the various components, top if you care you have to tick, include drawings, so it also takes the drawings.

half window snaps "select/replace" opens another window that allows you to replace the old order number with the new one.
return to the main window you have to select a folder where to save the whole and save, finished.

you find yourself in the new folder a renamed new set and with the correct references.

a council make some evidence before, at the limit created before the folder where you will go to put new files and then you will wonder why you never did it

I add that pack & go you can do it from any location, either solidworks explorer or browse windows folders.
simply click on the file that interests and, right-click, choose the options of "riname", "spost", "replace" or, precisely, "pack & go".

the pack and go will be one of my new videos that I will post proximate on my channel, for the moment, if anything, look for yt, maybe there is already something.
