duplicate project

I have an almost finished set, and I should make a second like that.

the second will have logically changes, even on the individual parts, but I need to keep the first unchanged.
Consider that some parts are derived from others, perhaps only for a sketch.

in the company we use the basic vault.

what is the best tool to duplicate the axieme by making the various parts remain derived within a single set but untied by the first?

pack and go?
Can you do it inside the vault?

in vault there is the project file duplicate function, according to the autodesk technicians is the tool to use.

I do all the process, deciding which files to copy and what to reuse, add a suffix and launch.

then appears an error "the file name is too long"

the name is of a few characters, in the details says that they must be less than 260.

Any suggestions?

provided that I do not use vault, that message appeared to me when the file was nested in a myriad of under folders...for example c:\clienti\progetti\archive\disegni\commessa\sottocommessa\pippo\pluto\paperino\bepi\caio\sempronio\file.iam.
at the time I solved with the map a network unit type x:\caio\sempronio\file.iam

In fact, the problem is that in the destination folder recreates the whole tree of folders and subfolders as in the original.

Fortunately I just shortened the name of the destination folder.
