Good morning.
I have a big problem. I work mainly with catia v4, but sometimes I "turn" to v5 to try to get results so I guess (some times wrong) faster than to make them on v4.
a result that I would like to get would be able to discriminate by color the lower and upper part of a model without having to select face to face. I'll explain. I have a model in quite complex surfaces consisting of flanges, studs and countless fillets that I have to divide into two parts before I can face it to implement the various modifications. is not divided by layer or by set or by color. so I'm forced to color one of the two parts so I can attribute a layer and activate it/disactivate it to my liking. I have to select face to face. Now I ask: is there a command on catia v5 that allows to attribute a single color to the faces that are seen in video? I know that on systems like omnicad looking for continuity in tangency the software colores the faces in continuity, stopping on the edges being able to save the color created by the command. Does anyone of you know if it's possible to do something like this or if there's a dedicated command to color a top/lower model on catia v5?
Thank you so much for the help you want to give me or even just for reading the post.
