dxf circular flanges

I have to produce hundreds of dxfs per day to cut plasma, usually I do it with metal sheet then save as developed. . .
but when I come across flanges round the result is an error message saying that geometry cannot be developed.
because it lacks the straight edge to select, do you have a quick method without letting me pass for a draft?
I tried making options developed.... but the result is not a dxf with 2 circles but of spline imprecise oo

In this case you can directly use "Save as developed", select the flat face of the flange and as edge the circular edge.

It's just what I do, but I get that error message back!
I start from the synchronous environment and create a cylinder then step to metal sheet always synchronous and gives me that error message the dxf is saved but is empty.

creating the geometry in part do not create sheet metal and therefore there is nothing to develop.
you must then use the "transform" command. thin sheet" to be able to develop.

Since you are creating sheet metals, why not leave as logical from the sheet metal environment?

Do I doubt it's just my problem or do it to you? not being a veteran I am doubtful that I have changed some sort of setting the material or on options .... I also tried by ordered same message.
Now I try metal sheet...

also works as you suggest:

from part--> environment development plan-->transform in metal sheet--> development plan-->saving as developed

solid edge develops the sheet, if you don't tell him what is sheet metal is not so strange that it doesn't develop.
