hello to all, I have solidworks 2011 and I am planning a downhill cart for a race, I am therefore trying the dynamic simulations of solidworks, to learn.
the cart I sized it first on paper and pen, then made on solidworks and I made a first static simulation, which confirmed the accounts made with paper and pen. So, I tried to do dynamic simulation, I used the random function, for vibration, and set the frequency range from 1 to 1500 hz, wanting to simulate the vibrations given by asphalt and any holes.
here the first question: how can I estimate the frequency range?? Then, I go to insert the force, and the unit of measure is n^2/hz, I never even heard of it, what number do I have to put on? I tried to put 2000, precisely the cart I had sized it for a static load of 2000 n, but using that number in the dynamic test practically nothing happens, it is all blue, efforts to the minimum.
Thank you.
