here is my problem of the day::smile:

I have a set and I have to export the absolute ucs coordinates of different points (in different parts of the axieme) to use them in another program.

Now, after some research and reading of documentation, it seems to me that the only way to do it "manually" is by using the distance measuring command (strange but true) that when selecting a point also tells you the ucs coordinates....

Is there any other way to do that?

and then: if you want to export the coordinates of all the points desired in a xls file (so to do it automatically at any variation in the axieme), how could I do?

interesting question... for which program? what formats read this program?
In fact, from the axieme you cannot, but you have to point out and mark them.
I tried with a workaround that almno keeps the parameterity of the pieces in case you have to move them.
1) I create a new part and derive the assieme.
2) I create 3 sketches on the 3 main floors and project the central point and all the points I want the coordinates.
3) I put a quota between the central point and each of the points accepting the message of non-parameterity of the quota.
4) I open the variable window and they are all in there.
pro: by changing the axieme, the values are updated automatically
counter: I can't export variables (but at least I have them in one window) and quotas can't be negative.
I don't know more. .
Hi.

a solution that bypasses the problem without solving it directly as you would like.
Sometimes we are satisfied, sometimes we are not:)

thanks daniele, in fact I had already done similarly to how you proposed with a derivative set. the program in which I have to import data is a cinematic management software of arms and suspensions for which it needs points in ucs coordinates. with the manual process you can easily but it is long to do every time. . .

now I am looking for a solution to export to xls. I think I almost did. I did a script in vba questioning the inventor programming bees.

I'm still studying all the methods that expose the bee. I think you can even plan in vb.net that would be faster. . .

@pablopicasso: Congratulations, you know... I don't know anything about programming. .
@tarkus: exact, from mine is said "a tacun"

we say "a piece"!
Perhaps I could add another piece to that of daniele_69 which serves to obtain in excel the quotas present in the three sketches: create an ipart with those odds in the table, open the table with excel, copy values into a right table to import into your software.
Maybe it works!

I was still thinking about the "riesci-tacun-pezzotto", which I think does not work as all points with negative coordination will not be displayed correctly. . .
And I throw another one for pablopicasso: if you have inv.2011 you have ilogic inside and you who can program. . .
