edge without groove

good morning to all, I have to draw a network that acts as a protection for a fan, the network must be edged for security problems (when it is framed with the shears cut better than a shaver) on all four sides then it is folded etc. etc., my problem is that the sw does not allow me to bend the edge if I do not do the grooves to remove the material that inv decides to be self-intered edge. But the network is not scanned because it is not needed. Is there a method to do this or am I obliged to report on the table that the grooves should not be done?

I imagine that the edgings are inside the tray you go creating.
I imagine why in the figure you posted you don't see a patch, and even because if the edges were outwards

inventor can not know that you pass over to those little deformation you have when you fold the tray and the edging towards the inside collides.

So, either do the slots or increase the edge game when you create the tray
