editing library of pipe routing parts, how?

hi to all, use solidworks 2011 and for student licensing problems I do not have the possibility to install service pack without losing the routing features, with sp 0 in the routing library I only have pipes with gas measurements and I read that with the sp 3 are added all the measures iso.
being the first time I have to compare with routing and having to use pipes of diameter 11/16mm (int/ext) I do not know how to come to head, I tried to create flanges starting from those diameters, but once inserted in the axieme and started the routing requires me of routing files and I have no idea what they are.
Is there no way to change existing pipes with the diameters I need? taking into account the fact that I do not need flanges, fittings etc. if not for the beginning and end of the path.

I never had anything to do with routing. However, I recommend that you do the tutorial that is useful to you, especially to understand the flanges as they are and that features have to start the route.

It's not a sp problem.
libraries can be downloaded directly from the bread task in solidworks resource.
your problem is that the same diameter value configuration is missing in the parts you use.
If you make a flange with 10 mm hole configuration, the 45° elbow curve as the 90° one must have a hole configuration of 10 mm.
this in functional terms.
to make it read in sw, you have to follow the correct syntax.
read the help.

soliduser I thank you for the straights, I downloaded the metric libraries for the routing and dragging the parts that interest me trying to start a new path with the right diameters will give me the same error "specify the valid routing components as starting point of the route pathway".

2011 was born with a new interface for managing routing options 'routing library manager'.
unfortunately the sp0 comes out with the packed paths.
the SP3 puts them back in place.
If you cannot install theresp3, you will have to enter the routing library manager interface and in the path tab, reassign them correctly.
There is another problem that inflicts the sp0 in the Italian language with win7, at least to me, that with the SP3 it disappeared and that is it crashed, but not in English language.

I'm talking about the 'routing library manager'.
If you see what happens?
Are you 32 or 64-bit?

64 bit, the routing manager works in all its functions, it doesn't bother me!
