Hello, everyone, I have a problem I can't solve. I have an old design where I had made a tide of layers. I put the layer zero and reviewed the design with polylines and then copied the polylines and glued on another design but they come behind me other layers that I can't remove. Can you help me?

Forgive me, but if the purge doesn't work, it means that the layers are engaged. so there is some invisible entity.

That's right, but the laydel command still takes them away.
Obviously first asks you confirmation and deleting the layer also erases the relative entities present above.
if loki is sure that they are layers that do not serve, or that still contain "swimming" ............. Well, laydel's fine.

However in principle I would have done

1) audit (and press yes)
this to correct (or attempt to do so) any errors in the internal db of the dwg
1a) if errors that acad corrected you, continue with audits until such errors are zero
(2) purge (as you said)
2b) continue with puge until there is absolutely + nothing to "push"
3) laydel as extrema ratio, if after all previous attempts remains something that should not remain .......
is a command (express tools) to be used with extreme caution

Good Easter

edit:
could also be useful (upstream of everything), turn on all layers and wblock dwg by selecting objects with non crossing window, then open and save the dwg obtained by overwriting it to the original.
and then (always with all the layers enabled) give an erase > sending > all > and remove with the same selection of non crossing window, all that is interested in ns. dwg.
In many cases, these operations leave a lot of dead and wounded in the field:) making it almost useless to use the commands referred to in point 1, 2 and 3.

thank you guys, all very kind. Anyway, I had nothing important on the layer, and I erased it. I did all this because the design gave me continuous blocks of the system and problems also because, as self-taught, I did not realize it with the right care, using external references and dismantling confusedly with the layers. Now I realized that starting from scratch on the drawing I have to be more precise. I will return to ask questions, because I need absolute advice on hardware.
