Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the configuration file (*.cfg) in solid edge st8 when I need to duplicate a set in which, with era, I saved the configuration of the explosive.
I normally operate like this: I open a new file together and I transfer the set to duplicate, right-click on the name of the group and from the other menu select "replace with copy", name and save copy. I close the new set without doing anything else, add the cfg file relative to the set of origin and rename it in the same way as the new set. I reopen the new set, open was and in configurations I find the one of the exploded. but it works.
if instead after the rescue of the open copy immediately was, solid edge, not finding any cfg files with the same name of the set, it creates a new but empty, that is without the configuration of the exploded. and this complicates things even more.
I applied the mp12 (which turns out to be the last for st8) but the problem persists. I've done a lot of research on the internet but I haven't found any useful indication, I hope someone here can help me.
possible that duplication of a set does not also involve duplication of the relative cfg file?
Thank you.
