empty walls inside

I revit 2013.
I'm trying to draw walls that have a layer of nothing inside them, empty. I need this to get us through the plants.
I made separate and parallel walls leaving the space I need. My problem is at this point the openings that I can only apply to a wall. Is there no way to group these walls with a layer of vacuum inside?

to make this wall I made two walls formed by one parallel layer leaving space empty inside.

My situation is much more complicated at layering but simplifying reasoning is this.

This is only partly true. If you join the two walls and parameterize the depth of the hole you get what you are looking for.

is not simpler:
- create a wall with layers (3 layers) and the inner one call it "empty"
or, if limited extension
- create a vacuum in the wall (e.g. a vertical vacuum) with a special family (of blanks on a wall host)
