encoding parts from catalog

Good morning to all,
in the company we would like to codify the commercial components so as to handle them correctly for purchases, use etc.
I would therefore need to be able to have this coding in the catalogs of toptron so that they go out separate.
I see that the only field that compiles an attribute is the first of the catalog table. I could enter the code in this, but I wouldn't have a field to fill out a description.
I turned the request to the seller, the first answer was that you can't do and that you don't need anything to have this chance.
to me it seems impossible that no company using toptron has the commercial components encoded and inserted into separate, how do you manage them? did you find the way to insert two separate fields?

I would point out that I use 99% of the catalog parts taken by those of toptron, but I also created catalogues on my own in the past, and I believe that this can be done. If I don't remember badly, now I don't have toptron under the hand that I am at home, you could fill out the category fields or under category, like the catalogs of toptron. You can call them back separately.
Take as an example the catalogs provided by toptron, which surely have all the fields compiled correctly.
