you have inserted the two tubes as adjustable but then you have not inserted the values of length and thickness (baptized variables for the adjustable part); by inserting these values the parts and the assemblies are regularly updated.

if you do not need to adjust insert them normally and the changes of the measurements will be immediate by editing the parts.
