environment variables (simplify body)

Good morning to all,
I use nx 7.5 and I would need the "simplify body" function. It should be a hidden function to what I understand, which must be activated by defining an environment variable. in fact when I look for it with the finder command tells me to set "ugii_dmx_nx502=1".
So? What does that mean? What do I do to activate it?

then:
ugii_dmx_nx502 (regis above)
1 (regave below)


reboot ug and pc, then, always with the command finder you look for the simplify and run it... .

I would avoid unnecessarily filling of new environment variables the profile of windows.
as this variable only serves nx I would do so:

-Go to the installation directory of nx 7.5
- enter the Ugii subdirectory
-In the middle of that disaster of files you have to open with a text editor (block notes for example) the ugii_env.dat file.
-At the end of the file add this line:
♪
-Save, close and restart nx.

note: do not change the file ugii_env_ug.dat (which is what contains the general settings nx) but only ugii_env.dat.

I can only share nx and the_matrix user responses better avoid using out-of-maintenance commands, better evolve and upgrade to new commands.

hello to everyone, today I found that to start nx8 you must write(as command line) ugraf.exe -nx
I found out because I always used a batch file to recall templates, variable for space maouse, etc. and as executable I started ugraf.exe without adding anything else. with nx8 I noticed that it didn't work properly, license that jumped me, partiva power drafting instead of nx etc... and so I discovered this change.

Be careful if you use other ways to start nx8.
