I made several 1mm radius folds and at the end of the project I wanted to try to use the function "create flat model"

However I receive this error message:


explanation error: impossible to perform the division between fold and plate. check the presence of sufficient discharge play for bending deformation.


in the tab "default sheet values" I looked for a field "unload game" and something like I found, but sincerely not having well understood the nature of the problem I can not understand how to solve it.

naively, I laugh "if the program can "explain" without problems, why does it encounter problems in "explaining"? ? ? "

What do you mean, "I made folds with radius 1"?

Did you do everything with the sheet module or, as I think, did it in "part" using the "foot" command and then converted into sheet metal?
the sheet module has by default a fold=thickness beam.
If you want a different radius, set it at the beginning or on a specific fold.
so he can spy on the flat model.
If you create something out of the sheet metal environment, you have to be careful that the rays you used agree with the default ones.
If you did your piece from the beginning with "lamiera", then the error is to be searched somewhere else... .

I read the message quickly, and I didn't realize that your problem is in the drains:
If you do folds whose legs go to touch without play, or even to compete, those folds become a related as if they were "saved", so the flat model no longer works.
anyway I would always like to know what you did your piece; in the sheet module it is not possible to set the game =0, so... let us see your file.

After doing the sketch of the sheet to fold I did not use the extrusion command, but the face command, precisely setting the thickness of the sheet and the type of material. In fact I created a sheet from the beginning and not an extruded piece, bent and subsequently converted into sheet metal.

in the folder window actually I noticed that the system automatically sets the fold radius = sheet thickness, but I changed it for all folds and set it to 1mm.

last night after posting this thread I continued to reflect and look at the design and noticed something. the handkerchiefs folded between them do not connect or touch each other, however a problem is and is the following:

there are points on the sheet in which around an angle of 90 degrees insist 3 folds. the first fold is done without problems, when I go to make the next folds but around this point the material is displayed as "snerved" or "strapped". Maybe this is the problem. Now unfortunately I'm not home and I can't show you a screenshot but as soon as I get back I show you so you realize better.

definitely just set the exhaust rules correctly so that part of the sheet material is removed so as to generate a correct fold, however I failed to find any solution, any change setting in the drain rules the fold seems not to be involved.
