Hello, matteo,

to me did not give errors during installation, it could be that you had nx running. also try to download the file again from gtac.

Let me know.

hi cesare
before posting the problem I tried to restart the machine, disable the antivirus finally to reload the update from gtac but you see that I have some other problems.....uff

Hello everyone
I don't know which of the 2 changes I made but now the installation of the release has been successful.
1- I upgraded windows with the latest updates this month
2- I moved all the installation folder in "c:" (with 2 hard disks I used to install quietly from 2 hard disck i.e. from "d:")
It's okay.

but that...
if I try to open relations browser gives me an error and not part (see attachment) caused by java.... but a program so expensive because it has these problems?

try to do this:
if you have a 32bit installation, check that these environment variables are set:
java_home=... installation directory of java... (eg. c:\java\jre7)
jre_home=... installation directory java...
and in the last part of the variable path go to add this:
path=... ... ;c:\java\jre7\bin

if it has a 64-bit install instead:
java_home=. .jre64_home=... installation directory java...
and in the last part of the variable path go to add this:
path=... ... ;c:\java\jre7\bin

I'm sorry, but I've only seen the advice you gave me now but I have to tell you that the variables I still had for version 8.5 that gave me a problem like java. I still can't make it work. ...

we can no longer distribute the jre together with the product, unfortunately.
Nowcle has denied us to enlist in our software.
you must have the jre7 level 51
attentive to the jave version: 32 vs 64 bits.

nx relation browser fails in nx9.0.2.5 due to non-signed java files
symptom
problem description:
--------------------
starting the nx relations browser fails in nx9.0.2.5 if no 'java_author' license is available.

the reason is a missing signing for the java jar files

"nx 9.0\nxassembly\nxbrowser\server.jar"
and/or

"nx 9.0\nxassembly\nxbrowser\plugins\nxopenplugin_1.0.0.jar"

development:
--------------
please see coordinator notepad for necessary files and duplication instructions.

This is what gtac reports.

sometimes you get a little angry: 9.01 has problems with dxf, install 9.02 and there are problems with java.... .

java has now become a ball to the crazy foot.
we hope to leave him slowly:
- nx10's help is based on a different platform
- nx10 pts is incorporated into the nozzle interface
... we actually still have the browser relation

java may disappear from nx, but is still very strong tied to teamcenter, with all his pros and his cons.
Since version 1.7 they have made major changes in access, security, etc.
I don't know if it's been oracle doing false steps, or some software houses (siemens) have not been sufficiently "effective" in adapting to these changes. . .

Hello stefano.
on tc the speech is very different.
in nx there are only some plugins made in java (help, pts author, feature browser)... 2 we deleted them.
oracle continuously changes security policies and continuously breaks the plugins... see for example the search of the help that we have to patch every jre coming out.

for tc instead we talk about the entire user interface of the portal... the times will certainly be longer.
Meanwhile we are developing the new web client html5... I don't know if you've seen it before.
nx/tc integration from 10 forward will be the default awc.

new web client? No, I don't think I saw him... Can you give me more info or indicate some links to "acculturate me"?
What acronym is that?

Unfortunately, if I do, then I have to kill you...
awc means active workspace client
Here are some links:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leu63oz20huhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlpfmnsctm4Unfortunately, especially the second is really old.
you can still do 2 things:
- ask you to make a demo...
- ask for access to the appropriate server that we provide to customers who want to test it.
I had done it a long time ago. access via any device (pc, tablet, smartphone, ...)
I for a further test appearance only early August in which the 2.2 comes out which has the embededded display of non-university assembly.

I would say... It's really beautiful!
I downloaded the documentation from the siemens portal but...
... but below there is still java!!!!!!
However I stop here because I am going extensively

you are right stefano, but an account is to use the embedded java in the browser, to do something... Another is to build on, via jre, a whole interface.
... and then it's not java, but html5.
then, by experience, when you go running applications on web clients enter the casino of unhomogeneity.
a customer in Piedmont where we put on a fairly articulated tc (a cheerful integration, integration orcad, integration nx, integration catia, integration proe, classification components, schedule manager, documental, requirement, integration doors, smart folder, management ebom/mbom, ...) asked us to access data via web...
"The same is the official browser for all... ie9."
holy num... on clients we found everything!
ie9 with java not updated
chrome
Firefoz
I'll be there.
32-bit versions installed on w7 64-bit...
a photonic casino, we had to run behind all these peculiarities, pc per pc.
