Good morning to all, I am using autocad 2016 to create a toothed wheel. first of all I drew a single tooth (formed by spline, circles and connection rays) which I then multiplied using the polar series command.At this point I added the circumference of foot to merge each tooth to the next, my problems start here:
-I would like to combine the teeth to each small arc of the base circumference but using the "unisci" command I do not reexit. select the element obtained from the polar series (the profile of the teeth), select the various arches of the circumference but using the "unisci" command I get "0 united elements" and I really want to understand the reason.
- starting from the profile of the wheel I would like to proceed with the command "extrude" so as to make my design three-dimensional. I select all the elements of the profile but the various teeth, obtained from the polar series, are not extruded. On the contrary I get the extrusion only of the small arches of the circumference of foot.

I attach some images to better understand my situation. Finally I noticed that even doing other forms, easier, with the polar series command the extrusion is however impossible.
Do you have any idea how I can solve my problems? Thank you.

it is associated,the problem is not so much to join the parts,that more than anything is a matter of comfort, but to succeed in correctly extruding everything....you know by chance what is due to my problem?

if you want to properly extrude the shape you must explode the series and generate from the resulting geometries a region
