Hello everyone.. .
I have been trying for a while with leveled regions, platforms etc... to find a graphically correct solution to display the excavation of a part of land...and even when I can approach it displays the correct color as deep as the whole section of surface...help.
Thank you.

in fact revit continues to color the entire soil in both separate phases and not the only portion of excavation and/or carry.
who managed to solve automatically without complicated artifizi?
thanks fabio

hi I left the default settings.
By reading around forums I realized that with revit you can not get the result that I would automatically.
I need only the portions of digging and taking ground to be coloured and not all the soil below as it happens to others.
Can you tell me the correct settings for the phases?
thanks fabio

when you create the leveled region revit duplicates on other phase all the ground; you must intervene and define the area of intervention

However, it is true that when you use a platform you dig or report all the dowel, making it not usable without masking the section.

in fact the only solution I found is in the section to make colored fields yellow and red. but this is a delirium if I decide to change or move the section line to the plant.... is like going back to autocad !!!

Unfortunately it is the direction of development that has taken revit.
imho is becoming more and more a "engineer" of projects already made, useful and unsurpassed for the construction of projects that not a toool of design, which requires that consistency does not affect its flexibility.
