Is there anyone who can tell me how a vectorworks block explodes?

first learns not to reason only for terms "self-chadists";-)
in vectorworks there are 2 entities that "absorb" to what you mean as "block": "groups" and "symbols"
a group is a set of objects grouped. all objects can have a different category but the group itself is assigned to one category. at the time of creation you can decide (usually vw asks) if you assign the attributes of the categories to all objects. if you duplicate a group with 50 objects, you will get another group with other objects, and on the file you will have 2 groups that weigh like 100 objects and that can be edited individually (in fact they have to). to "explode" the do cmd+u group that corresponds to the "separa" command found under the "transform" menu. if you want to group instead after selecting the do cmd+g objects that corresponds to the command "raggruppa".
a symbol is something moooooooooooolto more powerful and beautiful
If you take the same items as before for example, which are 50 and create a symbol (by making cmd+7) create an object that in fact looks like a group, but if you copy it for 1 2 3 or 124,000 times, it always weighs on the document as the first 50 items. not only: if you change the 2d or 3d features of a symbol automatically update its copies. if you need to change even one of these accomplishes you can always turn the symbol (transform>converts into group) into a group, to have a group in itself.
remember that a symbol can be hybrid. For example if you draw a closet it can be a 2d entity in the plant but if you put in a 3d view it can be composed of how many solid elements, mesh, nurbs, you want to assign them. all managing a single "block" or to say a little to the vw, a single "simbolo".

M... I get it! Anyway I found at the end what I needed cmd+k. I knew some things and used them already. but it seemed "the symbol". Thank you.

mh... here by default with cmd+k the symbols explode.
but one might have changed the keyboard shortcuts;-)

is that importing a dwg file from archicad all walls and objects were "blocks"? "symbols"? .... finally with cmd+k they exploded.:wink:

mh... is not the best way for the interchange of "objects" 3d the dwg.
You should learn how to manage the efc in order to find walls and other parametric objects like such from one software to another.
