how do I export a 3d model from revit architecture 2010 to 3ds max?
the guide says to export in fbx format, I tried but when I try to import with max mile.
use 3ds max 2008.
I also tried to export to dwg but max does not even open that.

I tried to import in 3ds max 2010 a fbx file created with revit 2010 and the program from this error:

warning: maker is not mental ray
"the production maker is not mental ray. lighting and materials will be innacurate. sun and sky will not be imported."

What's wrong? Do I need to set up some options in revit or 3dsmax?

I tried to import a fbx of revit 2010 before in max 2010 and did not give me any mistakes while importing in max 2009 gave me the mistake you say.
