Good evening, everyone!
from a few months I work on catia v5 after years of use of siemens nx and ptc creo. I was asked today to export only the surface "to view" of a rather complex assembly (for reasons of rendering) and frankly, while in creo or nx I know well how to do, in caia I have not yet found an adequate command.

Is there a tool that allows this operation? or how do you behave when asked for this kind of export?

Thank you all!

success a few times, and if I don't remember bad the rendering program supported caia... if there are not many parts, you could extract the surfaces (extreme/continuity on the points), or save in cgr (light jt files) or in 3dxml, if the render recognizes it

Unfortunately I have to maintain the quality of the file surfaces, I can not use polygonal formats... the driller uses a cad and must evaluate the external encumbrance and the shape of the object without seeing what is inside (both for the weight of the mathematics and for the confidentiality of the project)
