export presentations in autocad

is it possible to export the presentation files created in inventor ad autocad?
If I create a .idw or .dwg file, then I will be able to open it normally with autocad?

I've seen presentations, but it doesn't seem there once opened in autocad, the presentation is a common autocad file with normally editable lines.

Am I wrong?

Hi.
what type of file (extended/format) do you mean for a presentation file? an explosion in ".ipn" format?

However if you want to export a native ".idw" or a ".dwg_di_inventor" in the native ".dwg" format for autocad you must save a copy of the drawing that interests you using the copy save command with name.

then click on the inventor i then save by name and then save copy by name. will open a window where to choose where to save the file, name etc. there choose the directory where to save and decide the file name. now under the field where you enter the file name there is a drop-down menu and clicking "autocad" selections. then if you click on "options" (pulsant next to the save button) you can decide for what version of autocad save the file (from version 2000 to 2012) and some other parameters.
when you then open the file with autocad you will have no problem and the lines will be recognized as different layers maintaining color, line style, etc.
