external parts libraries

I sometimes use libraries of external parts or some suppliers that allow to get drawings of their details in various 3d formats also native. Of course I am interested in the native format of wildfire proe that would allow me to change the detail later taking full advantage of the potential of the program itself.

one of the sites that provides these libraries is www.cadenas.it, but for several of their catalogs when I try to get a format in proe wildfire the processing proceeds up to a certain point and then appears the following error message:

export error (cannot register connection with name server. if the environment variable pro_comm_msg_exe is not set)!

I installed proe wf4 m120

contacted the site support simply answered me to export the iges or other formats (beautiful support!).

Can someone tell me where and how to set is blessed variable?

Good year.

I don't know how to set the variable. But I also recommend you to use the iges or step format; in this way you can avoid unintentionally modifying a commercial while you can add axes plans and everything that can serve you.
Another drawback to import a commercial in the pro-e format is that it is often made up of some subgroups, useful to the manufacturer, which you find in separate.

cadenas also provides paid and non-free bookcases interfaced with pro-e that generate parametric models in pro-e of the commercials you need.
They're great and I recommend them.

the library in question is really cadenas, after tickled I have been advised to update some files, but so far the first attempt went to... .
