extract "different base" from step files

hello to everyone, it was a bit I didn't write in this section.
I'm putting my problem in hope for a solution.
in fact, I have a step file (of a set); as I should make the distinct basis of such a set I wondered if there was some sort of "automatic seeds" procedure to extract in a excel sheet or text for the assieme father its children (which can be parts or subassiemi) with its quantities and so on.

in this way the purpose would be to get a distinct tree-structured base.
I don't know if I was clear in my exposure.

in the step the only thing you have is the file name. Can't create a table with this value? then for the quantities the system should automatically recognize the various occerrences of each individual part, and count them correctly.

amounts the step, you create the axieme, insert the distinct materials (you can also make it in the axieme) and save it as excel

I had a little doubt not having the cad underhand.
when I create the distinct materials (and I would like to understand how to make it in the axieme) the program generates me a distinction of individual parts or even of any sub-axis?

if it only created the separate parts I would not have a tree structure but only one level in practice

Maybe you should open solidworks and do the procedures before you wrap your head with alleged problems.
