extract sheet from solid emptied

to create a complex sheet, can you use a solid and then empty it and convert it into sheet metal?

with solidworks I was able, with inventor I can not!!

Of course you can,I don't know if it works like with solidworks, but you can, on the contrary it is my preferred working method when there is to do something bent more complicated than a tray.

Hello, I am doing some insight into the sheet-metal module these days, so I'm still in full learning phase. from what I have understood so far, inventor does not preview in a single command the total conversion of a solid in sheet simply indicating the face of openness and thickness, as I was accustomed to doing in soliddesigner, so much to understand. then you will have to create all the intermediate steps through the basic commands of the sheet module, that is to say the conversion to part of the sheet with the appropriate command specifying the thickness, do the emptying with such thickness, and then define one to one the folds, and optionally redefine the gaps. It is a very long procedure and it would have been better if autodesk had created a special command "all in one", but unfortunately there is no such possibility.
