extract the quotas assigned to blocks

hello to all:

by profession design box production of building coatings and I would like to optimize a little my work to avoid errors or simplify the variants . I have available autocad 2012.

now I proceed like this:
design the wall > to each type of piece I put a unique name with a single-line text > the pieces I put them in a cartilage and accounted for with a table (piece name, finishes, processing, size and quantity) and exported at a later time on excel.

to count the pieces I use the extracted but I can only count the amount of each type by extracting the values of the text but obviously not the measures since I do not know

I would like to be able to draw the type piece as a block and account with the name table, processing, dimensions

Now, I thought theoretically to associate to a text (the name) a polyline that represents the piece (and this has an area) with the quotas (and these have the measure but I can not extract the data.) all in a table that in case of variations I can update automatically. How can I do that?

But why must the block be dynamic? I followed a tutorial and made one with the grips that allowed to change its geometry without deforming it but it is not what I need: I would use a name for every type of piece (to simplify any variation of measurement) (usually a number of 4 digits that establish the materials and numbering es 10-32) and that the shares that the sticks were directly extractable in the table.

therefore
Column 1 Name (I would check it by hand: a row of table for each block)
column 2 vertical measure (peak the quota inside the block and this the law)
column 3 horizontal measure ( same as 2)
column 4 area ( column per column)
column 5 notes (which will assign as an attribute)

ps: the block must be usable with super hatch: when I put the grip the command becomes a unique heaviness)
