Good morning to all, I am new to the forum. use solidworks for personal projects, reproduction or 3d prints.

I am trying to create a set to reproduce a coin selector, in the sense that it divides the various coins according to the diameters.
I've seen industrial vibrators I've been working at the factory.

My problem now is to create different cuts extruded on an extrusion created with sweep. Here are some pictures
solid1.webpsolid2.webpsolid3.webpsolid4.webpI have created very professionally an image with paint so that I can make things clearer. the first three figures show the piece in itself, putting the last would represent the extruded cuts I would like to make. they are equidistant from the lower edge, but they have different height and width, (so not repeatable).

I thank everyone who can help me in advance.

1) what version is solid used? with 2017 say that there is no problem using the winding function that should solve your problem. otherwise create tangent plans and project the cut. ps attach the file you do before and add the solid version to the profile.

Thank you for your answer.

I use 2016 and with the winding function comes out this message:
"the winding takes place on a planar face, cylindrical, conical, extruded or with revolution"
I think this message is sensible because the face I have to bring back the sketch is not conical.

Sorry but I can't attach the file, it tells me "no valid form" and the format I use is .sldprt

I asked you the version because since 2017 the wind command (say) works on all sphere shapes included. with 2016 you just have to wax a tangent plan to do the sketch on this and extrude, then you have to try the various options to get the result you wanted, at the limit then you have to correct the waxed sform angle from the entry angle and the exit of the extruded cut.
