Good evening, this is the first time I write in this forum.
use autocad for a while but only now I'm trying in 3d
My problem is:
I would like to make a 3d surface with some particular features:
1)must be extruded from a vertical profile;
2)Extrusion must have a 3d polylinea as trajectory;
3)what more important the profile must always be verticare and must rotate only maintaining orthogonal to the planimetry direction of polylinea 3d;
4)obviously follow the height of polylinea 3d.
the concrete example is:
I have a road in autocad that goes down curve salt etc..
the 3d polylines in question only the outer edges of the carriage
the profile to be extruded is nothing but a guard-rail.
the fact is that with the autocad controls (sweeps, extrudes) I can extrude the profile but, in the curved and sloped sections, the guard-rail does not remain vertical but tilts or towards the inside of the road or towards the outside.
I have been quite clear to ask myself
If you should have what alternative solution to the problem do not hesitate to suggest it..:smile:
help please.. (I need it for university)
thanks in advance
